VW Automotive Sales Consultant

Mitchell Volkswagen is looking for Automotive Sales Consultants to join its sales team in our NEW location 416 Hopmeadow Street Simsbury, CT We are a family owned and operated dealership that is celebrating our 100th Anniversary in 2022!! 

Job Responsibilities: 
● Complete successfully extensive training regarding the product line of Volkswagen 
● Establish personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devise a strategy to meet those goals 
● Spend time with customers to determine their needs and discusses vehicle options 
● Test drive vehicles to demonstrate automotive features 
● Complete quotes, return email / voicemail, other administrative functions to include running credit applications and processing transaction paperwork 
● Support on-line customers through our eSales office 
● Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales. 

Job Requirements: 
● Automotive sales experience is necessary for this role. 
● Other sales experience will be considered with steady work history and proven sales track record. 
● High personal achievement standards 
● Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a "people person") 
● CRM Reynolds & Reynolds, Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software and internet proficiency 
● Excellent verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills 
● Adaptability skills: teamwork, creative and strategic thinking, innovative, observant, open-minded, resilient, determined and collaborative.
