Issue with shifter since first oil change on my 23 GTI. After second oil change was told to push clutch all the way to the ground to correct any problem with shifter. I made adjustments, called service department and told them that problem still exists not only for me but my wife as well. I was told that I needed a technician to do a test drive with me. That VW would not allow the repair without a test drive. My issue is that I’ve been complaining about this problem since the beginning, I don’t feel any respect as a customer from the service department at Mitchell VW.

Just curious why receipt says 1.5 hours of labor when I was in and out in 45 minutes. Did I pay extra for that extra time listed?

Dishonest. Came in for an oil change, tech noticed the accessory bracket leaking coolant. Replaced under warranty luckily but picked up the car - drove 5 min down the road for the coolant light to come on. Got home to find the coolant reservoir completely empty. Called service and they gave me multiple stories. Yes we test drove it - that was a lie bc I have the VW app that shows the car never left their service garage or went past 3 mph while in their possession.
Also told air pockets are normal but not one large enough to empty the entire reservoir. “If” they said it was test driven - wouldn’t you think to check/top off the fluids. Just more lies and dishonesty from the Stealership.
The only good thing they did for me was getting me a loaner - which wasn’t an easy task in itself.
Also, I shared photos of the oil spillage from the oil service too. No apologies, just excuses and lies to defend themselves.
