    The quality of customer service has drastically dropped since COVID. I am a number not a person. Service techs (that aren't even the one I am working with) are snarky and have attitude. Given a loaner that won't fit my family despite the note in my file. Was told "that's a YOU problem" when my file wasn't checked at the time of booking my recall repair appointment. Don't blame me because you can't do your job. I have been buying cars from you (exclusively through George, who is AMAZING) since 2002 and I have never felt more undervalued. From being brushed off to lied to, to dirty loaner cars with biohazards in them, to having my info removed from my file for text and email reminders - it is just unacceptable. My husband works for you all but I have been the customer for over 20 years. If I wanted to buy a car from the Walmart of car dealerships and be treated less than human, I would shop at Crowley.

    I bought a 2022 Tiguan from Mitchell VW in May 2023. Within one week after the purchase, the car experienced a significant issue and required a steering wheel change. I was told it would take over a month for the Necessary parts to come in and that it was likely, my new car would be in the shop for well over a month. I requested That the dealership take the car back and then I would purchase a different car. I communicated with the general manager at that time That I was extremely upset about the issue. And wanted to speak with the owner of the Mitchell auto group. Additionally, I had requested a loaner and was denied due to one not being available.Eventually, I got the car back with the new steering wheel installed. Over the course of the next two years, the car Experienced many more issues that required the car to stay there for multiple days at a time. Mitchell VW in Simsbury, Connecticut does not have an adequate loaner program. Every single time the car went in I requested a loaner and was told there was no loaner available to me. And I would like to note, I was sold a car that had a plug in the tire and it is my understanding that that is illegal for a dealership to sell someone a car that has a plugged tire. Unfortunately, I spent the last two years worrying about the next breakdown, the next servicing, and Securing a loaner car for the duration of the servicing. One week ago, The car Began experiencing the same issues that happened two years earlier with the steering wheel. It was at that time that I decided to end my relationship with the Tiguan, Mitchell Volkswagen, and the Volkswagen brand.
