Buying my first car was an emotional, full-circle moment , and I couldn’t have imagined doing it anywhere else but Mitchell Volkswagen and with Dave. Growing up, I watched my parents buy their Volkswagens, always helped by Dave Julian. I remember being a kid in the back seat, tagging along on test drives, hearing them talk about how trustworthy and kind Dave was. So when it came time for me to buy my own car, there was no question in my mind , I was coming back to the place that had always been part of my family’s journey. Walking into Mitchell VW as an adult, ready to purchase my very first vehicle, was surreal. Dave treated me with the same care and respect he showed my parents all those years ago. He made the process feel personal, not transactional, guiding me through every step, answering every question, and truly celebrating the milestone with me. I’m now the proud owner of my first Volkswagen, and every time I get behind the wheel, I feel a sense of pride, independence, and connection to the past.
